force majeure

I love drawing robots and can
easily lose myself in the details.

Frezzato

Influenced heavily by Massimiliano Frezzato who illistrated the 'Maser' series for 'Heavy Metal' magazine.

Sofa

An early attempt at oil painting.
Since then, I've learned a great deal about perspective.

Peacock

An oil painting I did to experiment in a different style. I wanted to go in a more psychedelic direction. I think It's successful to a certain extent. Upon closer inspection, you'll notice several hidden images.

Doodle

Just a simple pen doodle.
I got bored during a seminar.

Mr. Kite

For a Beatles collection of illustrated songs. Based on 'For the benefit of Mr. Kite'. I chose this song for the wide variety of ideas I could derive from the circus theme.

Dogs

Another drawing jam for Prick.
This one was based on Quentin Tarantino.

Chloe

A life drawing done in water colour. I've always liked sepia tone.
I'd like to do more of this type of art, but my life drawing skills have fallen out of practice since I started working on the computer.
I know, Iknow: excuses, excuses.

Dog park

Another experiment in colour comp.

This was more of an experiment in colour composition than anything else. My weakness is in that area and am still unsure of it's 'workability'. You'll notice most of my stuff is monochromatic, leaning mostly towards graphite rendering.

'Blondie'

Inspired by Clint Eastwood in the 'spaghetti westerns'. As a kid, I used to (and still do) enjoy them to no end. I'd still like to do a Lee Van Cleef (as 'Angel eyes') and Eli Wallach (as'Tuco') from "the good, the bad and the ugly".
