Adrian

Lately I've been overcome with a fascination for caricature art.
Because of this, I started to study the works of Kruger, Seiler,
Drucker, Hirschfeld, Moyse and other accomplished caricaturists.
I haven't yet nailed the finer points and subtle essence of my
subjects so cut me some slack, I've just started.
My influence tends to lean heavily toward Jason Seiler's style
as I bought his book and my friend, Stephanie gave me his CD.
I'll post one a day until all of my coworkers have been caricatured
or until they catch on and beat me to death with my Cintiq.

Obo Animated
Way back at the end of January '07 I painted a robot I called 'Curio', then after nine months, I birthed the 3D version and renamed it 'Obo'. After ten more months I passed it to Alex Savin to play with, as he was taking a Maya course. This is the result:
Sweet job Alex!

Angler

When it's mature, the male angler's digestive system degenerates, making him incapable of feeding independently. His sensitive olfactory organs help him sniff out a female anglerfish. When he finds one, he bites into her skin, and releases an enzyme that digests the skin of his mouth and her body, fusing the pair down to the blood-vessel level. He then atrophies into nothing more than a pair of gonads, which releases sperm in response to hormones indicating egg release. This extreme sexual dimorphism ensures that, when the female is ready to spawn, she has a mate immediately available.
[She knows who her baby's Daddy is.]
